French Horn Rebellion

BIOGRAPHY

The French Horn Rebellion (FHR) is what the New York Times calls “the next big thing”, and there’s no question why after seeing their sweaty, slightly dizzying live show filled with some galactic sized tunes from brothers Robert and David Perlick-Molinari. They’ve tapped the attention of seemingly every major music press (NME, Pitchfork, etc) as the band to watch.  As for street cred, Dave is the producer for MGMT’s “Time to Pretend EP” and Rob has a French Horn degree from Northwestern University bringing that shiny twisted instrument of delights out on audiences during their danceathon set. They did remixes for electronic godfathers OMD, as well as some of the hottest names today such as Sleigh Bells & Two Door Cinema Club. After sharing the stage with Hot Chip, Cut Copy, Yelle in Europe, the US + Latin America and opening up for MGMT´s 2011 Hong Kong show, Fake Love Music brought them back for a glorious return to China  in December 2011, this time touring with Beijing´s witch-pop-disco trio NOVA HEART.
